Oregon is home to a vibrant and diverse African community, rich in values, cultures, and traditions that deserve to be celebrated and preserved. The Oregon Coalition of African Community Leaders is at the forefront of advocating for the interests of African communities in the state, empowering leaders to effectively navigate systems and culture, and fostering unity within the community.

One of the key initiatives of the Coalition is to provide a platform for African Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to showcase their work and resources through a dedicated website. This platform will not only serve as a portfolio for the organization but also as a hub for community education and support. The website will feature an events calendar, allowing members of the community to stay informed about upcoming cultural celebrations, workshops, and networking opportunities. A member directory will highlight the diverse range of CBOs within the Coalition, making it easier for community members to connect with organizations that align with their interests and needs. In addition, the website will provide donation capabilities, allowing individuals and businesses to support the valuable work being done by African CBOs in Oregon. Whether it's funding youth mentorship programs, cultural exchange initiatives, or advocacy efforts, every contribution makes a difference in empowering the African community in the state. A portfolio gallery on the website will showcase the impactful projects and initiatives spearheaded by the Coalition and its member organizations. From community outreach events to educational workshops, this gallery will highlight the positive change being driven by African leaders in Oregon. By providing a digital space for African CBOs to amplify their voices and share their work, the Oregon Coalition of African Community Leaders is not only advocating for the interests of African communities in the state but also empowering leaders to make a lasting impact. Together, we can celebrate the rich diversity of African cultures and build a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
